About Us
C & A Design Associates was created in NH in 2002 when owners Alan & Christie Sanborn designed their own home after a protracted house search. We selected a builder who met our standards of quality and communication skills then collaborated closely with them to make sure the project progressed as we wished.
We learned many things from that initial experience such as the importance of being in step with the building process, communicating design changes early in the build, and added to our knowledge of home design techniques.
The company became a NH LLC in 2005, joined the Better Business Bureau in 2010, moved to Virginia in 2020 and reformed the LLC here in Richmond, VA 2022.
We are excited to bring our design skills and focus on customer satisfaction to potential clients in Virginia. Our plans are thorough, structurally sound, creative and cost effective.
